After the three-point defeat at the hands of South Lafayette in the WPIAL Class 5A semifinals, finally, the McKeesport girls did it. On Saturday, Rachael Manfredo played such a big role with 25 points in McKeesport’s PIAA Class 5A second-round triumph over the Oakland Catholic. The McKeesport girls’ basketball team is making quite the run through the state playoffs. Every time I see the basketball game, I get more excited to see what’s next in the game. I’m excited about the next game.
